FAQ
Via a local tool installed on your PC as a drone operator, you are able to upload OBJ files with a maximum size of 2 GB to the platform. Raw drone photos can also be uploaded to your model as inspection photos.
Currently, it is only possible to render raw drone data in DJI Terra and upload it to DroneMissions.
The 3D models in DroneMissions are fundamentally accurate to the centimeter. We never claim a higher guaranteed accuracy, as it depends on several factors such as the type of drone, flight execution, sensors used, environmental conditions, and the measurement method (e.g., cursor placement in the model).
In practice, accuracy often proves to be even higher, but for professional applications, we always use centimeter precision as a starting point.
The use of DroneMissions within your organization does not depend on the number of 3D models you store with us. DroneMissions functions the same whether you have 1 model or 10,000 models.
In DroneMissions, you are able to generate a project timeline by linking all scans of a specific location together. This allows you to maintain control over the progress of your construction process.
Some functionalities you can use in DroneMissions include:
The DroneMissions user interface is intuitively designed, enabling the user to navigate the platform primarily using mouse movements.
All DroneMissions data is stored on European servers, and the developer behind DroneMissions (INFORDB) is secured through an escrow agreement. Penetration tests can also be conducted upon request. Privacy-sensitive information appearing on the platform, such as license plates and individuals, is automatically blurred and made unrecognizable.
DroneMissions is cloud-based.
AI is currently being trained to automatically generate bills of quantities for the most common/frequently used building materials. We expect to roll out this feature in the coming months. Once this training is complete, work will begin on recognizing common real estate defects to automatically populate parts of the condition score.
DroneMissions invoices monthly based on the number of stored 3D models and charges an additional fee per generated report.
DroneMissions enables users to maintain control over their own data and its sharing. As a drone operator, you render your own 3D model, giving you control over the data you have collected yourself.
DroneMissions exclusively displays and analyzes what is visually observable, measurable, or thermally detectable within the dataset. This includes visible damage, deformations, dimensions, or thermal anomalies.
Material composition (such as the exact type of glass) can only be determined if it is visually or thermally demonstrable. If additional verification is required, the drone operator can perform a supplementary on-site inspection or provide further documentation.
