Depth Scans

With the depth scan functionality in DroneMissions, you can analyze height differences and deformations within a surface with high precision. This makes it possible, for example, to visualize roof deflection or tilting in a clear and user-friendly manner.

How does it work?

  1. Select the depth scan functionality in the menu
  2. Select the desired surface in the model
  3. Set the accuracy and the number of measurement points
  4. Start the depth scan
  5. Analyze the results in the analysis tool

What does this mean in practice

  • You measure height differences within a selected surface
  • Small deviations are accurately visualized
  • Results are displayed visually and numerically

Practical examples

When inspecting a roof, a depth scan allows you to easily see if there is any deflection. Tilting in floors or other structures can also be determined quickly and clearly.

  • The cursor shows an exact depth measurement at every position
  • A profile of the surface is displayed at the bottom and left of the screen
  • Deviations are immediately visible and interpretable
