DroneMissions portal

Views

With views in DroneMissions, you can save specific perspectives of the model. This is particularly useful for structuring annotations and ensuring consistent presentation in reports. Examples include facades, roofs, or zoomed-in details that you wish to use or document frequently.

How does it work?

  1. Navigate within the model to the desired view (for example, a facade, roof, or detail)
  2. Set the correct viewing angle and zoom level
  3. Select the option to save a view
  4. Give the view a recognizable name
  5. The view is saved and can be easily reopened later

What does this mean in practice

  • You can define fixed perspectives within the model
  • Views provide structure in large and complex models
  • Reusable views for both analysis and reporting

Practical examples

During a building inspection, you can save a separate view for each facade. You can then link the relevant annotations to each view, making it clear which comments belong to which part of the building.

Advantages

  • Consistent and clear reporting
  • Work faster with reusable views
  • Better organization of annotations per component

In brief

With views, you capture fixed perspectives within the model, allowing you to bring structure to your work and manage consistent reports and annotations more easily.
